My love of photography began at the age of 10, when my parents gave me my first camera. I quickly saw that capturing a special moment or just that perfect shot could be viewed for many years to come. From school events to birthday parties, or just photographing my friends. I just wanted to remember the momemt.

When I became a mother, my favorite subject became my children. I captured their first steps, birthday parties, even sporting events. As they grew so did my love for photography. I began to capture memories for family and friends, school and social events, landscape and nature. I never went any place without my camera. You never know when the moment arrives for A Perfect Shot.

While wanting a change in my career, my husband Les told me "Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life" I took his advice and began A Perfect Shot Photography.

Along with my youngest son Derrick, we specialize in location photography and capturing social events. Since some of our best family gatherings are spent going through old photos, we feel that it is important to capture the moment. So at A Perfect Shot Photography we are dedicated to "Making Memories Last" One Shot At a Time
